My name is Jeff and I live in the midwest of the United States about 2 hours from Chicago, Illinois. I have a Specialist Degree in School Psychology and over 23 years of experience working in schools with children and adults from 3 to 21 years old. I also coached soccer and softball for many years and I volunteer as a Big Brother for Big Brothers Big Sisters. I enjoy reading, running, kayaking and spending time with my friends and family. 

I have worked for VIPKid for two and half years where I am known as ‘Jeffrey M’. It has been a great experience and I have worked with many wonderful and talented children. I have now expanded my teaching to include private English instruction.

I am highly trained in learning, assessment, instructional techniques, mental health and behavior. In my schools, I provide direct services to students through academic interventions and counseling. I also consult with teachers, parents and administrators to help students succeed academically, socially and behaviorally.

I use my experience and training when teaching English Language Learners by identifying each student’s unique strengths and needs and I design or use specific curriculum at just the right level to make sure each student experiences success and improves their English skills in a fun and positive environment.
